TactiScan is a portable and reusable pocket-sized narcotics scanner that has been specially developed for use by law enforcement agencies. The connected app displays the test results in just a few seconds. The data can be documented for record keeping and are only accessible to authorised officers.
The centrepiece of the drugscanner is a near-infrared (NIR) sensor. Combined with a mobile server connection, TactiScan enables fast mass data management. This optical measurement requires no preparation and does not alter the sample in any way. The risk of unnecessary contamination of the drug or the officers is eliminated.
